Management Team

The Management Structure of the Park is composed as follows:

i) The Majjistral Park Management Board, which is responsible for the drawing up and revision of management plans, and the liaising between the Managers and the Public Sector and stakeholders. The Management Board is currently made up from the following members. Chairperson: Dr. Stanley Zammit M.D., Members: Albert Mamo, Chris Attard, Mark Mifsud, Martin Galea, Rudolf Ragonesi and Vince Attard.
ii) The Managing Organisations, currently made up of Din L-Art Ħelwa, The Gaia Foundation and Nature Trust, which have set up a federation for the integrated management of the park.
iii) The Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA), the competent authority and regulator which is responsible for the Natura 2000 sites in the Maltese Islands, is responsible for the approval of management plans and regulations.
