Guided Walk

Majjistral park routes

Duration of Walk: 2.5hrs

Approximate Length: ca 6km

Starting and finishing at: Golden Bay bus stop

Terrain: rough, mostly rocky paths and some walking close to cliffs

Main features of the walk: Coastal and distant views, endemic Rdum landscape, garigue, traditional rural features such as the Maltese corbelled stone hut and farmhouse.

Guided Walks take place on Sunday mornings
Period:
October to May
(summer walks can be done in the evenings):

Guided walk: 10:00am - 12:30pm


Public Transport (check timetable on www.atp.com.mt):
To Golden Bay: Route 47 or Route 652

All tours will be based on email bookings and subject to a minimum number of persons.
Booking time: not later than 2 weeks before the preferred date
Minimum persons required: 5
Maximum persons: 25

Note: All participants are to be responsible for their own safety and for that of any accompanying children.
Suitable walking shoes are a must. The Green Country Code is to be respected at all times.

1. Refrain from collecting or causing harm to any specimens of flora, fauna, geological items such as fossils and stalactities or arcaheaological artefacts.
2. Tread lightly and avoid disturbance.
3. Avoid causing noise and light pollution
4. Do not dispose of any waste in the countrsyside or sea
5. Do not light fires
6. Keep to the paths
7. Report any grass fires or emergencies on 112
8. Enjoy the countryside!
